The technical consultation centre organises the 6th International Sansawa Festival 2011 from 26-28 April with the support of the Jordan Ministry of Agriculture and in collaboration with the Jordan associations of producers and exporters of fruits and vegetables.

The Sansawa Festival is one of the major events in Jordan en the Middle East dealing with agriculture, irrigfation and environment, food production and agri-industries, vetereniary products, feedstuff and aviculture.

Qatar Alternative Energy Investors Summit 2011

The Qatar Alternative Energy Investors Summit is scheduled on March 17, 2011 in Doha, offering a unique opportunity for networking in the fast moving sector and region.

The Summit offers access to key industry government representatives and insight on the latest trends in the industry. Panel discussions will encourage dialogue and debate on the future of alternative energy and on the latest practices and trends in this sector.

Qatar International Businesswomen Forum

The Association of Qatari Business Women organises its 2nd Qatar International Businesswomen Forum on May 17th and 18th, 2011.

The meeting is to discuss topics related to the role of Arab business women and their impact on the major projects being undertaken in the Gulf countries and the Arab states.

International Flower Fair, Damascus

The International Flower Fair is one of the most popular fairs taking place every year in Damascus. The event is scheduled this year from 8 to 11 May and will bring together reputed flower companies and landscaping specialists, in addition to traditional occupations associated with flowers.

The Ministry of Tourism is ready to host 3 representatives from each official delegation of the participating countries, and one person from private companies.

Buildex 2011, Syria

Buildex 2011 is scheduled at the Damascus Fair Ground from 12 till 16 May, 2011. The Fair is one of the largest building and construction events in the region and attracted last year over 2,150 participants from 57 countries.

MEDINDUSTRIE 2011

MEDINDUSTRIE 200, the 1st International Fair fir Industrial Partnerships and Innovation, is to be held in Tunisia from 15 till 17 June, coinciding with the Carthage Forum on Investment 2011. The Arab countries at the Brussels Holiday Fair

The 53rd edition of the Brussels Holiday Fair, held between 3 and 7 February 2011, attracted 7 Arab countries presenting their tourism industry and trump cards to the Belgian public.

Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Syria and Tunisia were part of some 760 participants demonstrating the strength of their respective tourism sectors to over 100,000 visitors. The Arab countries participating in the event were able to network and to establish useful contacts with tourism operators and interested specialists.
